The main aim of this session is to present details about the IELTS test, how it is marked, what types of student this exam is suitable for and some general tips on preparing your students for the IELTS test.

The works of Pauline Boty - the founder of the British Pop Art movement and the only female painter in the British wing of this movement will be exhibited for the first time in Poland. The Art Museum in Lodz in partnership with the Art Centre in Wolverhampton and the British Council will present the works of Pauline Boty. Her rebellious art, combined with her free-spirited lifestyle, has made Boty a herald of 1970s feminism. This exhibition not only gives an opportunity to see British Pop Art in a wider context, but will also give a chance to look critically at the history of 20th century art especially with a feminist point of view in mind.

We will of course be introduced to this rich and truly entertaining folk culture getting our feet wet as we try but understanding how Ireland came to be the modern one we know is not always a pretty tale to tell. It’s not just a story of a struggle for independence, it’s also myths and legends, a history full of tribes; Gaelic Celts and even Vikings, foot tapping folk music that will get you dancing the céilí and we will find out how the crack is and have a good crack doing it.
