The Traditional Ireland workshop, is solely devoted to Ireland, it’s traditions and cultures. Richie Mullaney will take students on quick journey through 10,000 years of Celtic History, describe in full detail the strange cuisine. He’ll explain the much misunderstood; “drunken Irishman” stereotype and pub culture, students will learn about Irish Food & Drink and The Irish language of Gaelic, among a variety of other topics. Richie is able to provide the best spirit and the mentality of the Irish, always looking optimistically into reality. There will also be an opportunity for brave volunteers to learn the basic steps in Irish Ceilí Dancing!

Students concentrate on performing simple routines with instructions in English. As they concentrate in the movement they forget about the language till the end of class when they realise how much they understood and how good their English is. A highly enjoyable class, lots of fun, good to strengthen team spirit and general atmosphere within the group. The workshop is accompanied with worksheets to be used before or after the session. Bring comfortable clothes and shoes to move around freely.
