I am an experienced Native English teacher from England. From 2008 -2011 i was teaching in Krakow. I have been teaching in Warsaw since 2011. My life experiences include running my own gastropub company in London, serving in the British military, growing up in Australia and living a sporty outdoor lifestyle. I love to cook. To attain maximum effect , I have realized that a teacher has to be student focused ie let the students take more part in a lesson instead of the teacher taking all the time. Student autonomy is very important. A teacher should make sure that there is enough discipline and mutual respect in a classroom. A student should be rewarded or punished according to the situation. It is very important the a teacher teach at a level one step higher than the level of students to ensure that the lesson is interesting A teacher must have loud and clear voice and good accent to ensure proper communication A good teacher always spends time in doing pronunciation exercises. I am an trustworthy and approachable individual with strong knowledge of the fundamentals of the English language. Currently, I am tutoring several students with conversational English and Spanish lessons. Learning and sharing of knowledge has been a highlight in my life and I wish to continue with my education in this field. I plan on attending a CELTA or TEFL course in the near future. I have worked in the hospitality industry, in retail sales environments and computer technical support. I have an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Art. Fluent in English, Spanish with some spoken Polish.

I am starting a new Ph.D. in neuroscience at Warsaw university which will give me the flexibility to teach English, something I am passionate about as I greatly enjoy meeting others, teaching and indeed learning from others indirectly.

I am teaching English in companies, general Bisness English and whatever the listeners require. I am flexible enough to cope with any task and to prepare anything they need or wish to learn. I helped open the Valentino/Salvatore Ferragamo boutique in Warsaw and I was responsible for first contact with fashion houses, translating orders, NDAs and documents. I find it difficult to judge myself both as a person and as a teacher.One thing is sure:I love teaching and it is great pleasure to observe my students as they make progress.English language has always been my passion and I do my best to pass this feeling to my students and then,learning this foreign language comes so easily.
