I am a CELTA Qualified English Teacher, with experience of teaching in schools and privately. I have taught adults as well as school pupils (ages 10 – 18) and have taught Business English as well as general English language skills and grammar. I have a strong track record of achieving positive results with a high pupil pass rate. I believe lessons should be engaging as well as informative and have received positive feedback on my teaching style. I enjoy putting lesson plans together, adding my own ideas where appropriate.

Kilkunastoletni pobyt w krajach anglojęzycznych ( USA, Wielka Brytania) oraz ukończone studia językowe w dużym stopniu wzbogaciły moją znajomość języka angielskiego. I am a NATIVE SPEAKING ENGLISH TEACHER. I intend to give your students not only a high standard education.  I have much insight in the many fields as well as a customer orientated way of thinking.  You also get a teacher with a multicultural background, in that I was raised in a immigrant Taiwanese family in America, so I can relate to the foreign language students. I have also worked as an assistant at a rehabilitation facility and a medical university in the United States.  Therefore, I can relate what is learnt in the classroom to real life situations. 

For the last six years, while I was working at the World Bank’s Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union (BFSFCU) in Washington, DC, I had developed an interest in customer service, debt collection, risk intelligence, compliance issues. While living in the United States for the last eighteen years, I have developed a very strong knowledge of the English language. In addition, I was taking English classes with Mrs. Feigenbaum for the last two years to improve my accent and pronunciation. Throughout most of my long stay in the US, I was involved with studies at either a university or college where I was acquiring research and analytical skills. Furthermore, I came to the US invited by my great-aunt whose native tongue was German. As a result, I spoke German at home with her until she passed away ten years later. Thereafter, I enrolled in college with a major in German to solidify my skills. I have also been a diligent student of Spanish. As it is such a common and important language in America, I thought it would be so beneficial to learn it. It turned out that I really liked it and learned it so well that while working at the BFSFCU, I was the person responsible to assist our Spanish-speaking members with their banking needs or concerns. I have also visited Mexico numerous times. I have developed strong analytical, organizational, and communications skills over the years spent in the United States.
