“Entertainment, personalization and challenge in the Adult classroom”
Students learn better if they enjoy what they do in the classroom. English Result aims to make learning enjoyable by
stimulating curiosity and providing entertainment, personalization and challenge. In this workshop, we will see how
this is achieved and participants will have the opportunity to try out some of the activities.
Each participant will receive a copy of English Result Pre-Intermediate Student’s Book.

“Providing learners of Business English with relevant language tools for everyday use”
Only knowledge that is used sticks in your mind” Dale Carnegie. Learners of Business English tend to squeeze
English lessons into their busy schedules and have very little time for self-study. The key to success is providing
them with the language they really need to use and the tools to enable them to use the language immediately and
confidently. In this session, we’ll be examining a number of tools now available to enable them to put their new-found
knowledge into practice.
Each participant will receive a copy of Business Result Upper-Intermediate Student’s Book.

“TOEIC & TOEFL – Methodology update”
TOEIC & TOEFL are the leading English language assessment tools used by over 8000 corporations and
6000 academic institutions worldwide. The presentation by Educational Testing Service (ETS) is intended to
familiarize the audience with the format as well as several improvements and changes introduced to TOEIC and
TOEFL certificates, the Redesigned TOEIC and Internet-Based TOEFL. The meeting will also focus on TOEIC
and TOEFL test applications, test preparation and tools helping teachers prepare for the tests.


Each conference participant will receive a certificate of attendance in the Teacher Training Day.
The Result Series and other Oxford University Press books will be available during the whole conference at
a 20% discount.
