Jestem absolwentem Instytutu Anglistyki UW o specjalizacji kulturoznawczej brytyjskiej. Napisałem pracę magisterską nt wpływu, jaki internet może mieć na politykę brytyjską i brytyjski ruch robotniczy. Mam kilkuletnie doświadczenie w pracy w międzynarodowym, głównie brytyjsko-amerykańskim, środowisku. Pracowałem w Ambasadzie Brytyjskiej w Warszawie na stanowisku Press & Public Affairs Officer, a także w polskich firmach PR, w których zajmowałem się obsługą PR dla międzynarodowych klientów. Moim atutem jest doskonała znajomość języka, a także doświadczenie i znajomość realiów codziennej współpracy z brytyjskimi i amerykańskimi szefami, klientami i kolegami w firmie.

Jestem absolwentem filologii angielskiej na studiach stacjonarnych drugiego stopnia. Przez cztery lata od 2007 r. udzielałem regularnie korepetycji. Od marca 2012 r. pracuję w Polskiej Akademii Kształcenia we Wrocławiu i udzielam regularnie kursów. Dojeżdżam do klienta. Specjalizuję się jako tłumacz. Lubię uczyć i sprawia mi to przyjemność. Jestem w pełni dyspozycyjny.

Jako lektora cechuje mnie przede wszystkim kreatywność - nie podążam ślepo za jednym podręcznikiem. Interesuję się muzyką i sztuką, co pomaga mi prowadzić zajęcia w żywy i interesujący sposób oraz dodawać do nich ciekawe, autorskie elementy związane z kulturą. Dzięki zdobytemu doświadczeniu potrafię pracować z różnymi typami kursantów - uczyłem już grupy wiekowe od zerówki aż po emerytów. Przez dłuższy okres czasu prowadziłem również zajęcia w firmach, potrafię zatem wykazać się obyciem w profesjonalnej atmosferze. Jestem w stanie w sposób praktyczny sprostać wymaganiom kursantów. Nie uczę, żeby uczyć, lecz żeby nauczyć.

Interesuje mnie w szczególności praca z młodzieżą, nie mam problemu z nawiązywaniem z uczniami pozytywnych relacji, które skutkują boostem ich wewnętrznej motywacji do nauki, praca na moich zajęciach to nauka połączona z dobrą atmosferą oraz zabawą. Moją mocną stroną jest American English wraz ze słownictwem/frazami języka codziennego, idiomami, itd.; połączenie in-class poczucia humoru oraz rozbudowanego zaplecza metodycznego.

I would like to start a teaching career in Poland. At the end of May I’m planning to move to Wroclaw with my family. As you can see from my CV, I do not have much formal experience in teaching students but with my passion for English language and my enthusiasm I know I would be a great teacher for my students. I have great interest in all sports, I love travelling and I like to learn about different cultures. My wife is Polish – I love Poland, its traditions and its people and that is why I want to move there. I’m in Dublin but I can fly for an interview, should you find my application interesting.

I have well developed interpersonal skills, strong motivation, and commitment to what I do. Further, career and personal development is of a great importance to me and I constantly improve my knowledge. I have recently moved to Poland for a change of direction and to further enhance my life skills. I would as a native speaker I have the knowledge and skills to teach English, to various types of people.

I have very strong class room management skills from working for years in public schools. I also have specialized training to lead a language lesson. I am extremely people oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills. I am also experienced in dealing with people from different cultural backgrounds from teaching ESL to immigrants in the United States.

I am English but currently live in Finland where I currently teach English in the Savonia University of Applied Sciences in the town of Iisalmi. As well as English I speak fluent Finnish and am familiar with Poland as I spent a month in Wroclaw on a CELTA course at International House last July. As a result of the course and spending time in Poland I am very interested in coming to teach and work in Poland. As a teacher I consider myself to be outgoing, enthusiastic, professional with a genuine love for teaching and for creating a fun and educational teaching environment best served to suit the needs of the students I have had considerable experience of teaching English to a wide range of students, from pre-school children aged up to 6 years old to adults. I have also taught to a wide range of students – business students, social care students, nurse, occupational health therapy, physiotherapy and agricultural and natural resources students. I have also always tried to make the learning experience a pleasurable one, create an atmosphere where the students feel relaxed and comfortable with what they are learning. I have received positive feedback from teacher colleagues and students alike for my creativity and how well I get along and interact with the students.I have also conducted an English language conversation group for teachers in the university. I have held positions of responsibility and experience of living abroad and learning a new culture and language. I am familiar with Poland as a result of the time I spent on the course in Wroclaw and the knowledge I had previously of Poland and had some experience teaching to Polish students on the course, so I would be very happy to come to live and teach in Poland. Unfortunately I can\'t speak Polish yet but am more than willing t learn.
