I am English but currently live in Finland where I currently teach English in the Savonia University of Applied Sciences in the town of Iisalmi. As well as English I speak fluent Finnish and am familiar with Poland as I spent a month in Wroclaw on a CELTA course at International House last July. As a result of the course and spending time in Poland I am very interested in coming to teach and work in Poland. As a teacher I consider myself to be outgoing, enthusiastic, professional with a genuine love for teaching and for creating a fun and educational teaching environment best served to suit the needs of the students I have had considerable experience of teaching English to a wide range of students, from pre-school children aged up to 6 years old to adults. I have also taught to a wide range of students – business students, social care students, nurse, occupational health therapy, physiotherapy and agricultural and natural resources students. I have also always tried to make the learning experience a pleasurable one, create an atmosphere where the students feel relaxed and comfortable with what they are learning. I have received positive feedback from teacher colleagues and students alike for my creativity and how well I get along and interact with the students.I have also conducted an English language conversation group for teachers in the university. I have held positions of responsibility and experience of living abroad and learning a new culture and language. I am familiar with Poland as a result of the time I spent on the course in Wroclaw and the knowledge I had previously of Poland and had some experience teaching to Polish students on the course, so I would be very happy to come to live and teach in Poland. Unfortunately I can\'t speak Polish yet but am more than willing t learn.

I have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate from a course in England. I have also been studying law as a Police Officer for the last two years. I am a hard working person who is very sociable, flexible and always keen to try something new and take on a new challenge. During my time working with the Police and in other employments I have had the unique opportunity to meet people from many different countries and walks of life. I had always thought that I would like to move to another country at some point and I have recently moved to Poland. I am currently learning to speak Polish and am enjoying doing so. I would now like to teach English to other people who wish to visit England. I enjoy sports and martial arts, computers, reading books and watching movies.

I have worked for Wimbledon Academy in London, where I prepared Adults to pass their citizenship exam that is required to obtain a UK passport. I am currently teaching groups with entry level 1, 2, 3 according to the requirements of the Home Office. My experience includes working as an EFL teacher for London Brookes College (2 months) in Hendon; as well as working for ACE Academy tutoring company (4 months) in London, where I have taught children (up to 16 years of age) English and Public Speaking (based on the National Curriculum). I have also given private English lessons for Polish people for about 2 years. Teaching is the career that I am very passionate about – and take pride in. I have and will continue to develop myself with dedication, hard work and effort to be excellent in this field. I also have experience in working as a manager for one of the boutiques apartments in Chelsea, London, which has improved my communication skills that are vital to work with children and adults I would consider myself creative and artistic in nature, which is very important, while creating a lesson plan and in the act of teaching to my students. My Master degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language equipped me with the knowledge of Second Language Acquisition theories as well as with methodologies in Teaching the Language, this too has given me additional insight to aim to strive for the best possible results , always having my learner\'s best interest in mind. My dissertation that I have submitted this year (about psychology and theories of learning Traditional vs. Constructivist) has given me a better insight into the best possible ways of teaching that one must take into consideration, while striving for success in Teaching. Teaching is my greatest passion and I feel really positive about making a difference in any child\'s or adult\'s life. It gives me a sense of pride and satisfaction when I motivate people to learn. I am also passionate about music (as I play the cello and love singing) drawing and painting. I believe that I will be a great teacher as my MA degree in Teaching English as Foreign Language taught me different methodologies of teaching English as well as different practical activities that would accelerate the acquisition of the language. I understand how important this time is for children as when I was 18 I was accepted to the European Union camp, in Barcelona, called ‘Euro Kids’. This experience taught me that workshops and communicative methodology play a very important role in learning languages. The role of the teacher, counsellor and facilitator should never be underestimated as it could change a child’s or even an adult´s life. The teacher who can inspire to do wonderful things is the teacher to look for and I consider myself to be one of those people. Jak do tej pory zdobyłem tytuł licencjata filologi angielskiej. W tej chwili mój główny cel to tytuł magistra Amerykanistyki jaki i chęć sprawdzenia mojej wiedzy i umiejętności nie tylko podczas domowych korepetycji ,ale również w szkole językowej.
