Projekt EASTER TIME składa się z trzech etapów:

1. quizu wiedzowego do wykorzystania przed warsztatami oraz ćwiczeń dodatkowych,

2. warsztatu EASTER TIME, prowadzonego przez Bulenta Akmana

3. testu sprawdzającego wiedzę i zrozumienie do wykorzystania po spotkaniu.

Have your students ever wondered about Easter traditions in English speaking countries? Have you? Join Bulent Akman, a Canadian teacher of English in exploring some of the roots of this special holiday! Selected volunteers from the audience will enjoy demonstrating several traditional Easter games typical for children growing up in Canada, the United States and Great Britain. Children will also discover how some of the more interesting traditions such as the Easter Bunny first appeared in North America . In addition to traditional Easter games and cultural enrichment, children will enjoy language and pronunciation games using Easter vocabulary and Easter themes. Join us for Easter and discover how this special holiday is appreciated in the West!

The students will leave energized and motivated by Bulent’s amazing personality and style.

Kilka słów o prowadzącym - do wykorzystania ewentualnie na lekcjach poprzedzających warsztaty:

Bulent Akman was born in Istanbul Turkey and moved to Toronto, Canada with his family when he was two. For 25 years he lived there, an unrepeatable performance, graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor's Degree in cinema studies and a certificate to teach English as a second or foreign language. 80 days and one long American road trip later, he started teaching in Ostrołęka, Poland. He was soon teaching in Warsaw where he continues to live, and where he occasionally contributes to a short fiction blog at: http://b8a.blogspot.com

Bulent Akman speaks English, French, Turkish and elementary Polish. He enjoys terribly clever self indulgent pursuits like writing science fiction and alpine snowboarding.
