In this workshop you will find out how to create a wiki website – a powerful tool which will help you keep your students engaged out of the classroom. You will learn not only how to set up your own wiki, but also what to do next: how to set up on-line homework, conduct virtual discussion and manage collaborative class projects. I will share with you how I use wikis in everyday teaching and why students love it. Basically, it's free, easy-to-use software which will change the way you teach forever!

Make a flashcard in a flash! – employing authoring tools to facilitate your work
Have you ever spent hours on end trying to produce classroom materials that would really dazzle your students? These days are through! Come to this workshop, and you will learn how to create crossword puzzles, bingo cards and vowelless texts in a flash! The software that we are going to sample is absolutely free and really teacher-friendly. You will have a chance to try everything out for yourself and design a few activities of your own, to see how easy and fun it really is.

Self-made audio library – or: using podcasts in class
Come to this session to learn how you can make listening practice more varied and lively with free audio and video materials available on the Internet. This workshop will show you where to find the best and readily available ‘podcasts’ (authentic audio materials) for various levels and age groups, and how to use them to engage your students. Additionally, you will be given step-by-step instructions on how to create your own podcast - you will be actively involved in creating your own audio production!
