11:00 – 11:15 getting started
11:15 – 12:45 workshop 1: How to make a puzzle without getting puzzled
Cloze and multiple choice tests, flashcards, puzzles and bingo cards created by means of one click – the workshop will prove that this can all be done! You will work with a virtual Teacher’s Pet to see how to save time and energy when preparing brilliant tests and activities for students of all levels. The software that we are going to sample takes a minute to install and is really teacher-friendly. I hope you’ll leave with several activities that you have produced yourself!
12:55 – 14:25 workshop 2: A WikiNing in the life of an EFL Teacher
This workshop will demonstrate how to create Ning and Wiki websites – a powerful tool to increase the student’s motivation by setting up a common space for the students to learn, record and revise. A cyber-notebook? On-line homework? Virtual discussions? Why not?! Again, no cost involved in downloading all the software or storing your content on the web.

You will have a chance to sample a lot of materials, and get some practical tips for how to integrate ‘wikis’ and ‘nings’ in everyday face-to-face teaching.

15:00 – 16:30 workshop 3: Self-made audio library – or: using podcasts in class
Come to this session to learn how you can make listening practice more varied and lively with free audio and video materials available on the Internet. This workshop will show you where to find the best and readily available ‘podcasts’ (authentic audio materials) for various levels and age groups, and how to use them to engage your students. Additionally, you will be given step-by-step instructions on how to create your own podcast - you will be actively involved in creating your own audio production!
