The main focus of the presentation is to discuss the tenets of the new reform with reference to teaching English in grades 1‐3 of primary school. In particular, we will discuss how to cater to the needs of 6‐ and 7‐year‐olds whose emotional, physical and overall development occur simultaneously and have affects on each other.
