This session looks at managing the transition between lower-primary and gimnazjum and suggests practical and memorable tasks and activities (including the use of songs, raps and chants) to encourage your learners to communicate confidently and read and listen accurately. By suggesting an early focus on pronunciation and polite interaction, the session will show how you can prepare learners for the socio-linguistic demands they will face as the curriculum develops and as they encounter the language beyond the classroom in their everyday lives.
