Struggling through an endless sea of efforts we do our utmost to teach our students all the techniques and strategies determining the final success at the gimnazjum exam. As language teachers, we explore a variety of topic areas, drill grammar issues and language functions hoping to incorporate them all naturally into our regular teaching schedule only to produce an exam-passing individuals.

Among quite a few definitions of creativity there are two that serve as a basis for this talk: creativity as adaptability and flexibility of thought and creativity as something undefined, that young children naturally have before they are caught in a ‘right answer’ trap.
