Knowing what we are doing is a prerequisite to knowing how well we are doing it. So having clear objectives is an important part of
any successful learning programme. This is true not only for the teacher but for the students. My session will explore how activity
based learning helps us to set, teach and test learning objectives through activity cycles. We will see how an activity cycle can be
managed and highlight some of the techniques and materials we need to develop.

Among quite a few definitions of creativity there are two that serve as a basis for this talk: creativity as adaptability and flexibility of
thought and creativity as something undefined, that young children naturally have before they are caught in a ‘right answer’ trap.
How to capitalise on children’s creativity in the classroom environment? Or, maybe it is only a myth that creative learners are
welcome in our classes? Nothing wrong about ‘right answers’ after all…
