In the presentation we will gain firsthand experience of a number of those short, dynamic, often quest based tasks taken straight from Our Discovery Island.
We will also dust our knowledge of the visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, musical, tactile and physical information channels to see how to create a solid language foundation on which subsequent receptive as well as (re)production-orientated activities can be based.
Last but not least, we will discover how to integrate a digital component into the English course so as to maximise input and exposure and to promote autonomous learning from the earliest possible stage.

Young teenagers are always full of energy, eager to meet their friends, and get involved in many different activities. Are we going to weaken their interest in English by making sure that our teaching goes in line with the new core curriculum and prepares them well for the 2015 sprawdzian szóstoklasisty?
In the session we will put our heads together to summarize how much is known about the approaching 2015 test and if there are any reasons to be afraid of it.
