Scotland, that small country at the top of the British Isles, often overshadowed by it’s bigger counterpart England; indeed when you ask somebody in Europe to name a place in Britain “London” is the first thing they will usually say. However, if you take a closer look at Scotland you will see more than just a pretty, quiet, rural country. Indeed the capital of Britain is not the most beautiful city in the U.K. It is Scotland’s capital Edinburgh with its UNESCO world heritage site Old Town and New Town and castle adorning the city centre that wins. The engineering feats of Britain such as the modern crane, the bicycle, the television and the telephone to name just a few are all Scottish NOT English.

So let’s be Scottish for a day with Sim an actor trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. We will immerse ourselves in Scots English, try the poetry of Burns “Scotland’s Bard”, sing the famous folk songs, listen to their famous warm humour and comedy, discover the beauty of Britain’s highest mountains and Scottish highlander culture and discover a history you never knew.

W 2001 roku skończył studia aktorskie na Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama w Glasgow. Po studiach, zajmował się pracą w teatrze i telewizji oraz grał w sztukach szekspirowskich w przedstawieniach wystawianych przez teatry w Szkocji. W międzyczasie zdobył kwalifikacje uniwersytetu w Cambridge do nauczania języka angielskiego i od pięciu lat pracuje jako nauczyciel. Obecnie, w Bielsku-Białej, współpracuje z liceum i gimnazjum Katolickiego Towarzystwa Kulturalnego.
