This session invites you to the world of Treetops – a new course for lower primary students, which acknowledges the best of the new core curriculum.

Nina Lauder has been teaching at all levels since 1990 and for the past nine years has been involved in educational consulting and teacher training. She has given workshops all over Spain and has collaborated with the British Council and the Ministry of Education on professional development programmes. She has also led teacher training workshops in Croatia, Turkey, Serbia, Russia, Slovenia, Holland, Hungary, Egypt, Switzerland and Poland. She is a materials writer for ELT and CLIL books and has published several articles.

“See it! Hear it! Do it!” The question is not whether grammar is important and useful, we already know the answer to that – it is! The question is, how do we help the grammar to stick? How do we make sure our students really understand and remember the grammar we are teaching them so they can use it? In this session we will explore a multisensory approach to teaching and learning grammar.

Ewa Palczak is a freelance teacher and trainer, who has an over 15 years’ experience in teaching English and Polish as a foreign language, she has taught children and adults in a variety of settings, both in private and public sectors. Ewa has also written guidelines for parents whose children learn English at primary school, and helps to develop and adapt various ELT textbooks and materials to the needs of Polish learners.
