This means that academic, research-based ideas have to be turned into practical, tangible tasks that can be used on everyday basis in the classroom. In this talk we will take a look at learner-centred activities that support step-by-step effective learning of English and the personal development of our students.

Are only our students the multitasking generation? Do our various skills help us in acquiring knowledge? How can our students work under all the pressures exerted on them? Even more questions come to our minds when we think of teenagers at school and home, and consider the ways to teach them all the skills needed for their future life with English. Although sometimes we have the impression that we live in different worlds, there are ways to work together. In the session we will consider what techniques can help our students organise their learning.
