What does modern teaching mean? How can we further engage pupils in the process of learning? Which types of activities animate young children and where do we get those ideas from?
During the presentation we will be discussing how crucial it is to provide physically and intellectually stimulating activities as well as ways to reach out and fire pupils' creativity.

We'll briefly analyse the fundamentals of the communicative approach and how they apply to small children as well as bringing everyday class work closer to the world of a child’s imagination.

The base rule of teaching children is to treat their knowledge and experience as a starting point for introducing or further developing their skills. Children are more likely to participate in activities that they know and like. There is no doubt that children like games and that the concept of playing games is second nature to them. When children play games, they not only perfect their skills, but also learn new things. The topic of this presentation is the ways of modifying and adapting games used in English lessons.
