Britain’s got talent and has always had talent.

This workshop will give you an overview of selected talented British musicians in the past as well as the present. We will listen to Purcell, Handel, Elgar, Coldplay, The Beatles, Michael Nyman, Mike Oldfield and of course The Beatles. We might even have a quick look at some Daft Punk arrangements.

In the second part of the workshop we will engage the audience in a musical experience where all the group work on their own piece of music and work with rhythm.

The workshop is an excellent example of a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning approach recommended by the Council of Europe) lesson where students learn about music, in a foreign language.
