We are currently looking for teachers of GERMAN - native speakers, to teach in Brzeziny as well as in Łódź. We are a successful language school situated right in the middle of the country and in the middle of the city at its main Piotrkowska street.
The workload includes teaching classes of 8-10 students of 16-19 years old, and are co-taught by a native speaker and a Polish teacher where Polish teacher is responsible for grammar while German teacher - Native Speaker works on students’ speaking skills, teaching mainly conversational language and vocabulary. Each course is accompanied by a course book chosen on the basis of the programme of a given level. Polish and Native teachers rely on the same book but with different responsibilities; the first takes good care of grammar, writing and phonetics while the latter concentrates mainly on reading, listening and speaking skills. Generally the groups meet twice a week for 90 minutes.
We are looking for professionals who would like to commit themselves to a long-term cooperation although teachers interested in a minimum one year contract are also welcome to send their documents.
Duties:
Teaching all levels of conversational German as well as exam groups
maintaining records of all classes
writing weekly and monthly reports
tests preparation and checking
evaluating students’ written assignments
participation in the school’s promotional activities
Requirements:
a minimum of BA degree but MA is preferred (degree in arts/education)
Teaching German as a second language qualifications preferred
teaching experience preferred but not a must
professional outlook
must possess at least a working knowledge of English and/or Polish
