Podróżowanie i praca za granicą umożliwiły mi kontakt z ludźmi z całego świata. Różne języki, kultura, mentalność, tradycje nauczyły mnie otwartości na innych, a zdobyte doświadczenie i obserwacje mogę skutecznie wykorzystywać i przekazywać dalej w nauce języka. Poprzez obcowanie z różnymi akcentami wiem jak ważna jest różnorodność zajęć i umożliwienie uczniom konfrontacje z językiem angielskim różnych krajów. Do przygotowania zajęć podchodzę sumiennie, a czas na lekcji staram się wykorzystywać efektywnie, zarówno dla studenta, jak i siebie samej.

Dear All, As you can see from my online resume I graduated from 3 different universities, Middlesex University (London, UK) being one of them. Recently I obtained my Master’s Degree in English Studies, which together with my CELTA certificate gives me a sound theoretical background for teaching English. I also participated in a year-long students’ exchange program in Hong Kong, which adds up to my international experience. I have over 3 years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language, my students aged from 13 to adults. Groups’ level varied from A0 to C1 and FCE and IELTS preparation course. I also taught 2 groups of Saudi scholarship students. I am still in touch with my Saudi students and became good friends with many of them. During the CELTA course, which I completed in 2009, I learned a great deal about methodology of teaching English. I discovered importance of lesson planning, and various teaching techniques such as: timelines, concept questions etc. I also became to understand that people learn by doing things, and making mistakes is an inherent part of learning process.

Jestem komunikatywna, miła, otwarta, kreatywna, ucząca z pełnym zaangażowaniem. Potrafię trafnie ocenić mocne i słabe strony studenta/ ucznia i dopasować styl nauczania do jego preferencji, jestem dobrym słuchaczem. Opracowałam własny program nauki j. angielskiego dla branży hotelarskiej. Moją specjalizacją są konwersacje i tłumaczenia za zakresu j. biznesowego. Posiadam bardzo dobry kontakt z dziećmi i sprawdzone sposoby nauczania z elementami zabawy.

To Whom It May Concern, I wish to apply for the position of an EFL English teacher at your school as I would like to pursue my teaching career and I would like to continue my development in this specific direction. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and TEFL from the University of Portsmouth. Additionally, I undertook pedagogical and methodological course during my BA degree. Mentioned courses gave me insight into students’ different development stages. I have been teaching English for 7 years now. As far as my teaching practice is concerned I have been teaching students privately as well as I taught for one year in a state school in Poland. I have worked with different age groups students the experience that I have gained while working with pupils taught me that each learner is an individual thus he/she needs different approach and techniques while learning/teaching. Work with teenagers is especially challenging and demanding as students are going through rebellious stage. Thus, an educator has to redouble his/her efforts to get learners both interested and motivated. Work with teenagers taught me that it requires from a teacher a lot of patience and understanding at this difficult puberty phase. Moreover, work with small children showed me that they have very short concentration span. Thus they cannot spend a considerable time on learning as they get easily bored and as a consequence of it they switch off. The best way to teach small children is through different action games. Thanks to them students can move around and they love it as children are very energetic and talkative at this stage of their development. My main goal as a teacher is to motivate pupils and simultaneously help them in developing their interests and learning abilities. I encourage students to construct their own learning in an environment that both helps as well as stimulates learners to realise their full potential. I have had very good results with students who had poor marks in English. Trough patience, enthusiasm, resilience and work from both sides now they are high-achievers. Additionally, I had been preparing learners for GCSE exams in Poland and all my students passed it successfully. Thanks to work with children I have developed skills in many areas such as communication organization and leadership. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. Polecam siebie do prowadzenia zajęć z języka angielskiego i hiszpańskiego. Te dwa języki i ich obszar kulturowy od dawna są dla mnie fascynujące. Zawsze lubiłam uczęszczać na zajęcia z tych języków - zarówno w liceum w klasie językowej, jak i w grupie w szkołach językowych. Teraz chcę oddać to, co posiadam, czyli moją wiedzę i umiejętności. Nauczę, wykonam drobne tłumaczenia. Czekam na propozycje współpracy. Preferuję grupy młodzieży i dorosłych.

Jestem osobą pracowitą, sumienną i zmotywowaną, podejmującą chętnie nowe wyzwania, o czym może świadczyć droga awansu zawodowego. Pracę w szkole rozpoczęłam jako nauczyciel stażysta, następnie otrzymałam tytuł nauczyciela kontraktowego, posiadam tytuł nauczyciela mianowanego oraz rozpoczęłam staż na nauczyciela dyplomowanego. Potrafię dobrze organizować swoją pracę i planować swoje działania. Jestem osobą otwartą na kontakty z ludźmi oraz nowe wyzwania i doświadczenia.
