PLANetarium: HOW NOT TO TEACH GRAMMAR

A series of 4 Saturday matinee sessions scheduled on a monthly basis. Each 180-minute workshop - aimed at teachers of English who work with teens and/or adults- explores a different aspect of planning and running grammar lessons, always with a creative twist.

Sunday 6.03.2016: The GRAND FINALE WEBINAR with Jamie Keddie, Lessonstream.org

Each month participants tackle a different lesson planning challenge related to teaching grammar in the communicative context. During the training day - in small teams - participants plan grammar-focused lessons, share their lesson designs and test them while microteaching. Between the sessions participants tackle their individual micro-challenges, communicating with the trainer and each other online. In the workshops the trainer provides tasks, ideas and inspiration. Both the participants and trainer offer constructive feedback so everyone can experience a positive professional change for the better. Other outcomes? You leave the session with a handful of ready-to-teach lesson ideas and enough inspiration for a month of teaching, i.e. until you get to tap into your group`s potential again - in the next month`s session.
