ciekawostki z angielski

* jeśli dopisze nam szczęście, odwiedzi nas sam święty Mikołaj i obdaruje gwiazdkowymi prezentami.

A child with ’normal’ learning pattern picks up the knowledge amazingly quickly, whereas for children with learning difficulties even a play itself needs to be taught. For these children the steps to learning seem to be higher, longer and steeper, Finding out new ways to help these children develop can be challenging for many teachers as it often means going beyond the realm of simply teaching a language. If you are curious about why swinging arms and legs across the middle of the body is more than simply fun activity, why water is so important or how beneficial multisensory teaching can be to our learners, you are welcome to come! I will be more than happy to share my knowledge and experience with you.

MOTIVATE WITH MICKEY!
Creating a successful learning ‘environment in the lower primary classroom with English Adventure This season will look at the characteristics and needs of the lower pnmary age group, at the same time as considering the latest changes in the school curriculum. We will then see how English Adventure takes these into account in providing an active, successful and rewarding learning experience.

NOT ALL GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE
Are your students experiencing problems in listening, speaking, reading, writing or memory? Maybe they struggle with more than one learning difficulty. Are you not sure how to help your students learn more effectively? Then this presentation is for you. In this talk, I’ll focus on types of learning disabilities and on various types of activities that help children with learning difficulties achieve success in learning English so that, we teach all of the students, not just the bright ones!

LEARNING DIFFICULTIES OR TEACHING DIFFICULTIES?
Do not train children to learning by force and harshness but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so that you may be better able to discover ffi accuracy the peculiar bent of the genius of each.
This session will take a broad definition of ‘learning difficulties’ and examine what it is that makes learning difficult for individuals, for groups and for individuals within groups We will touch on issues ranging from motivation and concentration through to learning preferences and differences in perception There will be a brief look at a case study of a child with learning difficulties and some practical suggestions for classroom use.

ADVENTURES IN ENGLISH: THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD
This session will take a look at the recent curriculum changes from a child’s point of view, considering how different it may be from that of a teacher. What will the changes mean in the classroom? What does this mean in terms of what our children need from their teachers and from their books? The talk will be illustrated with practical examples of classroom activities and suggestions for exploiting published materials in engaging and productive ways.

HOW TO CLIL THEM NOT TO CLIL THEM OUT
The new Bill of Education signed in August this year makes it obligatory to teach a foreign language from the earliest levels of primary school. English will go hand in hand with integrated teaching, which creates new challenges for teachers. This session will look at how to meet these challenges so as to make English fit into the integrated model. We will consider the application of the key points related to FL teaching as laid out in the bill and look at the practicalities of the approach within the existing paradigm.
