INTERACTIVE TRAINING TEAM


Alicja Cholewa-Zawadzka
Alicja Cholewa-Zawadzka is a graduate from the University of Silesia – she holds an M.A. degree in linguistics – and completed her postgraduate studies at the University of Economics in Katowice. Alicja is a former DOS and her teaching practice includes nearly all age groups, levels and course types. She has worked as an EFL and ESP teacher as well as ran tailored courses, esp. in Business English and Legal English. As a teacher trainer for Egis and Express Publishing she has given a huge number of presentations, workshops and seminars for teachers of English all over Poland. Alicja’s professional focus is on teaching vocabulary and using interactive whiteboard and drama in ELT classroom. In her private life, she loves skiing and travelling.

Constance Jones
Born and raised in Australia, Constance Jones holds a B.A. in English Literature. She has attended courses & seminars concerning TEFL. Previously, she held the position of the Director of Studies in a large school in Greece. She has been teaching English for 10 years. Her interests focus on writing English language books for young children and she is a member of the Children’s Institute of Literature. For the last years she has been a supervisor for the Cambridge Examinations and is currently working for Express Publishing as an English Language Teaching (ELT) Consultant and International Speaker.

Monika Lech
Monika Lech has been exploring the Polish ELT market for over five years now, both from the teacher’s and publisher’s perspective. She got her M.A. from the English Department of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, where she started her career as a teacher of English in private language schools as well as a representative for Egis and Express Publishing in the region of Lublin. She then moved to Warsaw, where she currently lives and works as an ELT Consultant for Egis and Express Publishing. As a regular presenter and trainer, she can combine her two biggest passions: English and travelling.

Steve Lever
Steve Lever holds a BA (Hons) from Leeds University. After working as a teacher of English as a foreign language for 12 years, he moved into ELT consultancy for Express Publishing. In this capacity he has spent the last few years travelling around the world delivering workshops and seminars. He has been a plenary speaker at many international conferences and has also been pleased to be involved in joint projects with the British Council and Education ministries in various countries.
He has a strong amateur interest in teaching through drama (a subject on which he has published articles) and the use of NLP in language teaching. He is always on the lookout for ideas that make the EFL classroom a positive place to be.
