Opis:

What do you know about Great Britain? Ok you know something I bet you know quite a lot but what do you really know? We will test you on your knowledge of the history, culture and different peoples of Great Britain by means of a class Quiz Show and as we take all the answers in we will see that we still have many questions to be answered.

This will begin our little journey around the British Isles which will take us to a Scottish Burns night supper, give us a lesson in the Welsh language, have us swearing in The English Bard’s language and even give us a sing song from a well-known Northern Irish song as we also delve into the troubled side of history.

With this and more, including another quiz about the English language, we will really discover where “Britain” actually comes from, its diversity and many roots that span the globe.

Prowadzenie:

Simeon Wren pochodzi z Manchesteru w północnej Anglii, ale mieszka i pracuje w Bielsku-Białej. W 2001 roku skończył studia aktorskie na Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama w Glasgow. Po studiach, zajmował się pracą w teatrze i telewizji oraz grał w sztukach szekspirowskich w przedstawieniach wystawianych przez teatry w Szkocji. W międzyczasie zdobył kwalifikacje uniwersytetu w Cambridge do nauczania języka angielskiego i od pięciu lat pracuje jako nauczyciel. Obecnie, w Bielsku-Białej, współpracuje z liceum i gimnazjum Katolickiego Towarzystwa Kulturalnego.
