Key characteristics of Neurolanguage Coaching®

constant awareness of how the brain works, ensuring brain connections;
coaching models and tools;
ethical principles of coaching itself, ever present in language coaching sessions, as set out by the ICF;
individual needs analysis;
language targets tailored to individual needs;
cultural aspects of language;
professional expertise and topical focus included;
personal aspects such as client confidence, comfort, motivation and satisfaction addressed


Programme overview:
The ELC Language Coaching Certification® course consists of two parts (30 hours of ICF Accredited Training + 6 hours resource development - a total of 36 ICF-accredited hours)

Module 1
Introduction to Coaching
Module 1 focuses on equipping participants with an understanding of the theory and principles behind coaching and the ability to facilitate powerful conversations.

Module 2
Neurolanguage Coaching® Skills
Module 2 focuses on equipping participants with an understanding of the theory and principles behind language coaching and the ability to integrate principles of traditional coaching together with the neuroscience of learning into the language learning process.

Necessary preconditions to participate:
1) Language teaching qualification and/or at least five years of proven adult language teaching experience
or
2) A professional qualification (such as lawyer, doctor, engineer) in a profession in which language for specific purposes is used or have sufficient years of experience in a profession which uses technical vocabulary and language you must still hold or undertake a valid language teaching qualification or demonstrate five years of adult language teaching experience
