Call for Papers
1st IATEFL Poland ESP SIG – Conference
16 January 2014 – in Lublin



IATEFL Poland has now established a Special Interest Group for English for Specific Purposes (ESPSIG) and the first SIG conference is planned for January 16th 2014. This conference will be supported by MONDIALE-Testing GmbH, who have been recognized by IATEFL Poland as a supporting institutional member.

The aim of this conference is to bring together ESP teachers of all areas to share their experience of ESP teaching and to present examples of Best Practice.

The event will take place from 10.30 – 16:00 on Thursday 16th January, 2014 at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. To enable as many teachers from Poland and other countries to take part, the event will also be broadcast live online.

We invite ESP teachers to submit proposals for presentations of ESP, focussing on their own experience and giving examples of Best Practice. To allow as many teachers to take an active part in the conference as possible, the length of talk or presentation will be limited to 30 minutes.

Talks and presentations can refer to all specialist areas of ESP, such as Medical English, Legal English, all specialist areas of Technical English such as Mechanical Engineering, IT, etc.
