Raymond Murphy - his legendary titles are known and loved the world over, and have given literally millions of students the tools they need to tackle English grammar head-on. Raymond taught English as a foreign language for 17 years in Germany and the UK, but since 1988 has been a full-time writer of EFL materials.
He is the author of the following best-selling Cambridge titles:
Essential Grammar in Use, English Grammar in Use, Basic Grammar in Use (US Eng), Grammar in Use (US Eng)

Bartłomiej Jaślikowski - a graduate of English Philology department at Warsaw University and group trainer with a diploma of Laboratory of Psychological Training and SWPS in Warsaw, founder of training and professional development company ‘goodteachers.eu’. He started teaching English in 1998 and in 2005 also got involved in teacher training around Poland. Complicated human personality alongside working with and analyzing the intricacies of group processes through application of dynamic social psychology are the two things which make him tick.

Teaching Grammar Creatively
Grammar seems like one of the most predictable and yet difficult language areas to teach. Perhaps then, now is the time to remodel and revamp our classical approach to teaching English grammar and spice it up with a little bit of creativity and contemporary knowledge of cognitive psychology, the structure of human brain and the knowledge of how we humans learn grammar. Let us then learn and share experience on how to teach grammar creatively, shall we?
Luiza Wójtowicz-Waga - a Warsaw University graduate in Applied Linguistics and American Studies. Experienced EFL teacher currently cooperating with Warsaw Study Centre, where she works as a Director of Studies. She supervises the work of over a hundred teachers, supporting their professional development as an in-house trainer. She also cooperates with PASE running workshops for teachers.
English Profile
English Profile project is a new, groundbreaking innovation in the way we understand levels in EFL acquisition. What exactly do we mean when we call someone an A2 student? How do we know where the borderline between B1 and B2 lies? How often do we ask such questions? The project aims to create a set of specific language descriptors, linked to Common European Framework levels, in order to answer these questions. A revolution in the way we look at language learning and language teaching, English Profile will provide us with a clear standardized description of levels to make testing, evaluation, materials development and course preparation easier.
English Profile is a collaborative project between University of Cambridge, Cambridge ESOL, British Council, University of Bedfordshire and Cambridge University Press.
