International School Award

The International School Award is an internationally recognised accreditation that provides schools and pre-schools with a framework for collaboration with international partners, sharing best practice, and opening young people’s eyes and minds to the realities of the globalised world. ISA is available to any educational institution, recognising different levels of achievement in international work. It prepares young people for life in a global society by embedding international learning in the curriculum and provides a motivational framework for teachers and school leaders to develop themselves professionally.

Schools and pre-schools interested in raising the quality of their international learning offer please register by 15 November 2013 through the online application form.

Annual school participation fee: 250 PLN gross (possible discounts for schools in challenging financial situation).

Institutions eligible for the International School Award: preschools, primary schools and secondary schools.

LEVELS OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD CERIFICATES

Foundation (accreditation lasts indefinitely)

recognises your school’s preparatory work in introducing international learning
promotes awareness of global themes amongst young people and educators
Intermediate (accreditation lasts indefinitely)

recognises your school’s ongoing development of international work
enhances the ability of young people and educators to reflect critically on global themes
Full Accreditation (accreditation lasts three years)

provides accreditation for embedding international learning into the curriculum
encourages pupils and teachers taking action to tackle global issues
recognises the globally conscious ethos of a school
