MLI International Schools, a leading provider of junior English courses in the UK and Ireland, is currently looking for experienced (assistant) directors of studies for busy summer centres in Dublin, Ireland.
Details of Position:
• Ensuring that a high quality academic programme is delivered, following MLI guidelines/syllabus closely
• Oversight and support of the teachers, ensuring that their performance is of the highest possible standard so that the students derive the maximum benefit from their course
• Ensuring that lessons and activities are fully integrated in class planning, providing a homogeneous and meaningful learning experience
• Ensuring the safety and welfare of all students/staff at all times
• Reporting to the Centre Manager and Academic Manager at Head Office.
Essential Requirements:
• British Council recognised TEFL/TESOL Cert (CELT/CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL) or equivalent
• Educated to a degree level preferably in ELT, Applied linguistics, English Philology
• Native or near native level of fluency in English (CEFR Level C2/CPE)
• Over 5 years’ full-time EFL experience
• Proven competence in academic leadership
• Proven people management skills
• Eligible to work in Ireland

• Computer literate
• Experience of working with teenagers
• Previous DOS experience
• Previous summer school experience
Salary and Benefits:
€450 a week
Residential positions available: accommodation and food provided
Contract duration:6-8 weeks
